Based on one of my favorite songs, "The Master's Call" by Marty Robbins. This piece shows the main character of the story right before the Savior interrupts his outlaw ways and changes his life forever. My hope for this painting was to display the feeling of drama and fear projected onto the listener while listening to the song. The larger than life landscape in the background displays just how miniscule we are compared to God's power, and he still grants us a pardon, and sets our sinful souls free.
